In Laborem Exercens, Pope John Paul II discusses the value and need for every man to “work” as a way to participate in God’s plan for man on earth and to elevate each day’s work in such a way that it actually becomes divine.

Together, we assist members with:

Paul Dean

Founding Director

Paul has over 30 years of business experience ranging from Information Technology to Forestry. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6650 and an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 209.  Living in Cary, he is happily married to his wife, Barbara, and they have two wonderful children, Andrea and Chris. He is a parishioner at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex, NC, and he is the Founding Director of the Career Network Ministry. Paul holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Forest Management from Auburn University.

Dana Gower

Founding Director

Dana has a diverse range of business experience spanning over 30 years including work in both Human Resources and Financial Services. Dana is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6650. He lives in Cary and is a proud father of five terrific kids and six wonderful grandchildren. He is a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, NC where he is a Director of the Career Network Ministry. He holds an MBA in finance from Rollins College and A.S./B.S. degrees from the University of Maine.

ALTON DELANE

Director

Alton is the founder and CEO of EdMotion, an education technology company, and a former submarine officer and investment banker with more than 20 years of experience advising emerging growth companies and venture capital investors. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6650, and resides in Fuquay Varina with his wife and three kids. He is a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and Director of Marketing and Operations for the Career Network Ministry. Alton holds a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
